the development
How can the running gear be made a little bit more intelligent, lighter and more economical? This question is at the heart of all our development work and every component has a role to play in this. That is why our engineers work in teams composed of specialists for brakes, axles or electronics. They jointly develop a prototype which has the potential to become a serial product.
At the test station -
the Test Centre
Before a new development goes into serial production, it must pass numerous tests at the BPW Test Centre. Performance over a travelling distance of 1.6 million kilometres is simulated here. The results then serve as the basis for further development - or as the reason for turning the prototype into a serial product.

our production
BPW is distinguished by a high depth in production. Components thus originate virtually entirely from within the company group which means we can guarantee our tried and trust quality from the very start. We also record the assembly process 100% which is effected here in a highly automated way and which applies to large orders in exactly the same way as to the batch size.

service and customer service
More than 3,200 BPW service partners ensure the provision world-wide of optimum maintenance and provide customers with original spare parts. A BPW running gear covers a distance of 600,000 kilometres on average over a period of up to six years with this all-round care provision. That is not however by any means usually the end of the story. Even after the trailer has been re-sold, the running gear still has years of very productive years.
