The EU has tightened its climate targets: by 2030, CO2 emissions are to be reduced by 55% compared to 1990 levels. To achieve this, the pace of emissions reduction must be more than doubled. But idealism alone is not enough - climate protection must be economical so that transport remains affordable for everyone. BPW is therefore developing practical e-solutions with renowned partners: the ePower generator axle recovers energy for emission-free cooling units when braking and travelling downhill. This saves up to 4,000 litres of diesel and 10 tonnes of CO2 per trailer every year. And it pays off. This is climate protection for the reality of transport.
