Similar to a bicycle dynamo, ePower converts the rotational movement of the wheel into energy and stores it temporarily in a buffer battery so that it can then be fed into the system as required. Through recuperation, i.e. when braking, lost energy is recovered and fed back into the system. The decisive difference is that the system is only energised after input by the so-called inverter. In addition, the two generators only supply exactly as much energy as is needed at any one time.
