The deliberate choice to operate as a limited partnership makes it clear that all of BPW Bergische Achsen Kommanditgesellschaft's actions are fundamentally based on sustainability and the establishment of partnerships. BPW is aware of its social responsibility along the supply chain and implements the obligations under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) in its business processes.

The declaration of principles of BPW

The declaration of principles sets out BPW's strategy for respecting human rights and the environment. It communicates BPW's expectations on respecting these rights to suppliers, employees and other stakeholders. The policy statement records the results of the risk analysis within the framework of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. If BPW receives new findings as part of the risk analysis, the declaration of principles will be updated.

Complaints about human rights or environmental breaches of duty

BPW's complaints procedure under the LkSG can be used to report possible human rights and environmental risks or breaches of duty that are related to BPW, its supply chain or employees. Such risks or breaches of duty may include forced labour, child labour, discrimination or the harmful contamination of soil, water and air.

To ensure a trustworthy and transparent approach, the complaints procedure follows a predefined process that is set out in the rules of procedure.
