European Regulation

Dear Sir or Madam

In accordance with Article 33 of the REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006), we hereby inform you as a manufacturer of articles that some of our products contain substances listed in the candidate list - see below.

Why are we informing you about this? With this announcement, we are fulfilling our obligation to pass on information along the supply chain to commercial customers without being asked to do so. The European Chemicals Agency ECHA regularly updates the so-called candidate list of substances of very high concern for authorisation. This list now includes over 200 substances for which notification and information obligations exist under the REACH Regulation. You can access the currently binding candidate list on the ECHA homepage at Candidate List of substances of very high concern for Authorisation - ECHA (europa.eu)

If our product is used as intended, there is nothing to prevent its safe use.

The data provided also supports the notification to ECHA's so-called SCIP database, which contains information on substances of concern in articles or complex objects. According to Article 9 (1) (i) of the Waste Framework Directive (WFD 1), suppliers should provide ECHA with the information according to Article 33 (1) of the REACH Regulation from 5 January 2021.
